12289 Then I smelt smoke.  I was going to have to get out - and fast...

12296 An unopened bottle of beer was lying on the floor of the plane.

12300 We wouldn't be getting out that way.
12301 The impact from the landing had twisted the door frame.

12304 A buckle and strap held the crate tightly to a metal frame.
12305 The buckle was quick-release - I soon had the crate freed up.
